Do you guys have a mobile app and is it on playstore?
Yes, we have already developed mobile apps for Android and iPhones. We have decided however to wait until we have enough users to justify launching a mobile app and dedicating resources to that.
The DoBiz website consists of several integrated services that together form the platform. There are two main sections of the website that users should be familiar with.
The first is the public section, primarily designed for browsing content. In some cases, users may be prompted to complete a short form or provide basic information.
The second section is reserved for registered users with a DoBiz account. This part of the platform enables users to create, edit, and delete content. Registered users can follow businesses and individuals, apply for job opportunities, and receive business leads from people seeking the services they offer.
Registering on DoBiz is quick and easy. Simply go to the registration page, enter your email, choose a password, and accept our terms and conditions. After submitting the form, the system will create your account and send a confirmation link to the email address you provided. Click the link to confirm your registration.
To log in, go to the login page and enter your email and password. Once logged in, you'll notice that the "Register" and "Login" buttons at the top right are replaced by a circle containing the first letter of your name. Hovering over this circle reveals a small menu with two options: "Dashboard" and "Logout." Click "Dashboard" to access your personal dashboard.
On the left side of the dashboard, you'll find the main menu. This menu gives you access to various sections of the website where you can create, edit, and manage your content.
We've worked hard to make advertising on DoBiz both simple and rewarding. Anyone can place an ad on DoBiz, as long as it complies with our terms and conditions.
Placing an ad is straightforward. From your dashboard, look to the top right corner for a button labeled 'Advertise'. Click it to access the advertising section of your dashboard.
On the advertising page, you'll see a top bar featuring the page title 'ADVERTISE' on the left, the current tab name in the center, and your ad balance on the right alongside two key buttons. The first button is used to fund your ad account. You must have a positive balance to post ads. Once funded, you can create a new ad by clicking the 'Create' button.
Ads on DoBiz can expand to show more detailed information to interested users. Each extended ad includes a small button in the top left corner. When clicked, a popup window appears displaying additional information about the ad.
The advertising section includes two main tabs. The second tab, labeled 'Ad Statistics', shows performance metrics for each ad including impressions, engagement, and other useful analytics.
Classifieds are listings created by users who want to buy or sell items, services, or opportunities.
On the classifieds page, you'll find the standard page header with the page title on the left, the active tab title in the center, and a "Create" button on the right. This button is only active if you haven't reached your limit for posting classified ads.
The first tab, "Your Ads," displays all classified ads created by you. Each ad includes edit and delete buttons, plus statistics showing views, contact clicks, and bookmarks.
The second tab displays ads by other users. You can browse and filter by category, with relevant filters appearing based on the selected category.
Clicking on any ad takes you to a dedicated page with full details, images, and a contact form. Some listings include helpful tools like a loan or affordability calculator for car or property listings.
The DoBiz Business Directory is a key feature of the platform, as business is a major driver of both the economy and our community. Our mission is to make DoBiz an essential tool for business owners.
The business directory page includes the standard page header, with the page title on the left, the active tab name in the center, and a "Create" button on the right.
The first tab displays all business profiles linked to you. Each profile includes a main image, the business name, and buttons to edit or delete the profile. The second tab allows you to browse all business profiles, filtered by category.
Click on any business title or image to view its full profile. The profile page includes a hero image, sidebar with key business details, and tabbed sections for posts, products, services, media, careers, reviews, and contact details.
At DoBiz, we love events! We believe that fun and engaging events bring people joy and make life more meaningful. That's why we not only encourage events but are also happy to help users create and enjoy more of them.
The Events page in your dashboard has four tabs: Your Events (events you've created), All Events (all public events with filters), Past Events (where users can upload photos), and Venues (all venues across South Africa).
Under the Your Events tab, you can edit or delete upcoming events. Past events cannot be deleted, as users may still want to share photos or videos from those events.
To create a new event, click the "Add" button in the page header. A popup form will appear for you to fill in the necessary details.
Recruiters and companies can advertise job vacancies on DoBiz. We've taken it a step further by allowing them to add custom questions or even an exam to a job listing.
There are three tabs on the Jobs page: Your Jobs (jobs you've posted), Jobs Applied For (jobs you've applied to), and All Jobs (all available jobs with filters).
To post a new job, click the "Add" button in the page header. A popup form will appear where you can enter all the necessary details. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required.
Opportunities are short-term jobs, not permanent positions. Users can create opportunities and other users can apply. The author can then accept a preferred applicant and the person will be informed.
The opportunities page has three tabs: your created opportunities, your applications, and all opportunities on the system.
Click the 'Add' button in the page header. Complete the form including an optional image, title, description, type (offline or online), category, location (for offline), value, and closing date. Accept the terms and click save.
DoBiz gives people the opportunity to showcase their products and link to the page where consumers can actually purchase them.
Every user who registers on DoBiz automatically gets a profile. Your profile tells others who you are and what you're about.
To make changes to your profile, click the "Edit" button on the profile page. This switches the profile into edit mode. To change your profile image, click the pencil icon over the image. Once done editing, click "Save" to apply your changes.
DoBiz operates on a membership-based system. There may be limits on the amount of content you can create depending on your membership level. The system will notify you if you're reaching a limit.
You can showcase affiliate links directly on your profile. Click "Edit Profile" then "Add Affiliate Link." A popup will appear where you can enter the link details, upload a custom image, and specify the brand name.
The DoBiz Affiliate Program is free. Refer businesses to a DoBiz membership and earn a commission on their first payment and on every renewal for as long as they stay subscribed.
Go to your account page, open the Affiliate tab and click Join. You immediately get your referral link and code to share.
Commission is pending for 14 days and then becomes available. Once you have at least R1,000 available you can withdraw up to R1,000 at a time and up to R5,000 per month. Add your bank details and ID number on the Affiliate tab the first time you withdraw. You can also move any amount of available earnings into your DoBiz Wallet instantly to spend on DoBiz.
People are constantly in need of services and we want the process to be simpler and safer. You must be a verified business in order to respond to requests. All requests are handled in DoBiz and there is no phone number visible to the public.
On the services page, click on a category and a window will slide down. Choose a sub category, enter your details, and describe what you need. After submitting, regularly log in to your account and check your messages for suppliers responding to your request.
We created a directory that allows people to filter results on various criteria, making it far easier to find the website they are after, without needing SEO or a Google account.
People that add their website to DoBiz no longer need SEO. People can find a website extremely fast based on criteria including type, category, last updated, and more.
